Carmel French a Toast

  • English muffin toasting bread
    12 slices
  • brown sugar
    1 c
  • butter
    1/2 c
  • cinnamon
  • eggs
    6
  • light corn syrup
    2 tbsp
  • milk
    1.5 c
  • pecans (chopped)
    1 c
  • salt
    1/8 tsp

    Mix brown sugar , butter and light corn syrup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 glass baking pan. Sprinkle with pecans (chopped) . Place two layers of English muffin toasting bread on top of the Carmel nut mixture.

    Beat together eggs , milk , and salt . Pour over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon . Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

    In morning allow to warm up or place in microwave for ⏱️ 3 minutes . Bake at 325 for ⏱️ 45 minutes , uncovered. Before serving cut in squares and flip over on serving dish.
